last minute teacher gifts

i whipped these up today for brendan to give to his teachers at school. i made the bag template in illustrator and cut them out with my silhouette. i made the little crepe paper thingies and i really see myself putting them on everything! too cute!

valentine's day crafty goodness

i wanted to share what i made for my husband for valentine's day. he has already received his present because i suck at keeping stuff from him.

i made a little felt folder thingy after getting some inspiration from this post at the shabby chic blog.

just getting back internet after the ice/snow storm we had here. kentucky is under a state of emergency with over 100,000 still without power. in some county's, they are under a boil water advisory or without water all together.

here is a (crappy) pic of the tree that barely missed our cars.

i just ordered one of these for my husband for valentine's day with a quote from our wedding vows. how incredibly cute! and it's miniature!!! who doesn't love miniatures?
if you are interested in getting one for your sweetheart, i would suggest ordering soon... i am sure they are getting lots of requests!
